50th Jubilee Year Celebrations!

SMSH turns 50 years old on November 10, 2021. There will be a year long celebration called the 50th Jubilee! Below are the events that are planned so far. More will be coming! Stay tuned in here!

Event: Homecoming Football Game

South Miami Senior High won the homecoming game!!

Cobras were victorious against Miami Springs Senior High 48 - 0!

South Miami Senior High School celebrated its 50th year from when it first opened its doors to students on November 1971.

The SMSHS administration hosted the event with the music band welcoming guests.

We participated in the 73rd Annual Junior Orange Bowl Parade,"Miracle on the Mile: A Holiday Parade and Celebration”, in Coral Gables on Sunday, December 12th at 5:00 pm with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
